DATE BALLS
Favorite Treat Energy Balls
A favourite treat in our house!
You will need:
215g dates
70g cashews
88g almond meal (or fresh almonds)
45g cocoa
50g organic desiccated coconut
30g coconut oil
30g rice malt syrup
40g clean protein powder (best to use non-flavoured)
Method:
Soak the dates:
Soak the dates in water for 20 minutes.
Blend the ingredients:
Place all ingredients into a food processor.
If the mixture is too dry, add a little more coconut oil.
Shape the balls:
Roll the mixture into small balls.
Coat (optional):
Roll the balls into desiccated coconut, if desired.
Chill:
Keep in the refrigerator and enjoy!
